Who I Am.

Alice Decker

Hello and welcome! My name is Alice and I am the designer behind this staged space, Decker8 Designs. Although these days you’ll find me staging through Oklahoma territory, I actually grew up in central Missouri and received my Masters in Interior Architecture and Product Design from Kansas State University. It was through school and a life-changing study abroad trip to Castiglion Fiorentino, Italy that I eventually met and fell in love with my husband, Ben. #magical, anyone? And in addition to finding my life partner, I heightened my passions for design and photography from my time spent in Europe. Since getting married in 2012, I have continued to pursue these passions through the creation of Decker8 Designs. And somewhere between then and now, I added another job title when I became mom to my two littles, Frankie and Dean.

I have been always been drawn towards interior design and love to create comforting and aesthetically pleasing spaces. As a 6th grader, I was already dragging my mom around to every department store to find just the right bedding to go with my thoughtfully procured wallpaper border. (Hopefully that doesn’t give away my age too much!) My education, background in photography and a natural skill for styling really helped me develop an obsessive eye for details. But it was my experience under the mentorship of Tera Hampton from HGTV’s Design Star that solidified my desire to make it a career for myself. Now, after years in the real estate industry, I truly understand the importance of making your home stand out in today’s competitive marketplace. My goal is to provide my clients with an upscale, yet welcoming design that leaves a lasting impression on potential buyers.

Let’s get together to talk about pretty things and share in the accomplishment of more sold listings.
